Our goal is to raise top quality Shelties for companions,
performance, and show prospects.
We are based in a small town north
of Milwaukee, WI.
Our Shelties help run the farm, Parkers' Rise 'n Shine Ranch,
where we also raise Welsh ponies, Ragdoll cats, and a few Piedmontese beef cows.
It must be said that the work our Shelties do best is
playing with our two sons, Jeremy and Daniel.
We are a small breeder and have been raising and training
Shelties since 1987. My interest started primarily in
obedience work (training and showing) with our first Shelties,
Sunshine and Midnight. That grew into becoming an obedience
instructor at our local dog training club and a further interest
in breeding. After having my children, my sons got
involved in 4H and training their Shelties in obedience and
conformation. I
then became the Carroll County 4H dog project leader. Tricia
McLane of Priderock Shelties took us under her wing and with road
trips to Michigan and Ohio, introduced us to her world of
preparing, training and winning in the conformation show ring.
As a result of her training, my sons took Best of
Breed with our Sheltie, "Yodie" ranking in the UKC top
ten in 2003 and also took Grand Champion and Reserve Grand
Champion in confirmation, obedience, and care & grooming at our 4H
fair, two years in a row, qualifying for state. That's a little bit about us.

We are pleased to say that our foundation female Shelties
were
champion sired with champion bloodlines which
include Okies, Longsine, Benayr, and Barwood. We have added
a few girls to our family since then from Priderock Shelties. All come from healthy champion lines with
personalities plus!! Check out our "parents" page to meet
them and the handsome champion male we have as well.
Although our goal is to raise
quality Shelties that have winning bloodlines, even
more important to us is that the Shelties we raise have superb
temperaments. Our pups are raised in our home, in hopes of
providing a good start for wonderful dogs. Usually our
Shelties are medium size dogs (13-16 inches) and are
sable and white, with an occasional tri-color.
For our family we think that best of all
our Shelties are wonderful companions! We rarely go anywhere
without one...or two...or......
